Information we collect
When you sign in, our authentication provider supplies your account identifier, email address, and display name. 4thQuarterIQ stores that identifier with the players you save, favorites you select, your most recent 50 questions and player visits, and feedback you submit.
4thQuarterIQ does not receive or store your password. We may also collect limited technical and feature-usage information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
How we use information
- Provide and synchronize your My IQ account across devices.
- Save players, favorites, and recent activity you request.
- Respond to beta feedback and correct reported problems.
- Protect, maintain, and improve 4thQuarterIQ.
4thQuarterIQ does not sell your personal information or use your saved players and search history for third-party advertising.
Data services and sharing
4thQuarterIQ runs on Railway and its underlying hosting and database services. These providers process data only as needed to operate the site. Football statistics may come from nflverse and other identified league-data sources; those public sports datasets are separate from your account information.
Retention and deletion
Your saved players and recent history remain until you clear them or delete your My IQ data. The My IQ page includes controls to clear saved players, clear history, or permanently delete your profile, saved players, history, and submitted feedback.
Operational security logs may be retained for a limited period by the hosting platform as needed for reliability and abuse prevention.
Security
Account identity is verified server-side through Clerk, and every personal-data request is scoped to the signed-in user. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but 4thQuarterIQ uses reasonable technical safeguards and limits the data it stores.
Children and changes
4thQuarterIQ is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the product changes; the effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
